IN TODAY’S EPISODE

The Camino de Santiago is about finding your place and finding your own peace. Our pilgrim friend Bryan Steward knows this quite well.

Bryan suffers from a disease called Becker muscular dystrophy. An illness that damages and weakens the muscles over time. He was diagnosed at the age of eight due to a family member been diagnosed with the same illness.

This doesn’t stop Bryan from traveling all over the  US. After finishing college he had the thought of walking across the entire United States but after some job interviews that didn’t go as expected, he realized that taking a year to travel around the states wasn’t possible.  He found some temp jobs that found one that granted him 7 weeks to complete the Camino de Santiago.

Most will think that 7 weeks is a lot, but due to Bryans’s condition, he took his time and was able to find his own peace walking to Santiago de Compostela.

Come with me and discover why walking without haste, and taking your time can be an amazing experience in the Camino.
